Dr. Kerry Ragan Wantuck – Veterinarian / Practice Owner
Dr. Kerry Ragan Wantuck is privileged to serve as a veterinarian to so many wonderful pets in our community. She believes in providing outstanding veterinary care through practicing superior medicine, advancing her own education through excellent veterinary continuing education, providing state-of-the-art equipment, and educating the public how to help our pets live long, happy lives.
Dr. Wantuck was born in Springfield and grew up in Harrison, Arkansas. She has 14 years of experience as a small animal clinician and is honored to be the doctor to your beloved furry family members. She graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in 1996 with a Bachelors degree in Biology. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2005, she began practicing in Springfield. Her dream to own a veterinary practice became true in 2014. Dr. Wantuck’s special interests include geriatrics, surgery, and avian/small mammal medicine. She believes in thoroughly educating her clients about their animals heath, to ensure that the family is able to make the most informed decisions regarding their pets care.
Dr. Wantuck is married with two children, and her animal family includes four dogs and an ever-changing number of rescue cats that frequent the front porch of her home. In her free time, Dr. Wantuck enjoys spending time with her family.
Dr. Christina Robinson – Veterinarian
Dr. Christina Robinson joined Healing Paws in June of 2016. Dr. Robinson grew up in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City with a Bachelors degree in Macrobiology. She then completed her veterinary education at the University of Missouri in 2014. Dr. Robinson enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but her special interests include dermatology and internal medicine. While in veterinary school, she met her husband, Dr. Charlie Robinson, a large animal veterinarian. Together with their daughter Lucy and dog Tuck, they reside in Bolivar, MO.
Dr. Kelly Carrow joined the Healing Paws Team in August of 2018. Dr. Carrow grew up on a farm near Windsor, MO. She graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 1991 with a Bachelors degree in Biology. She then graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
Dr. Carrow is married with three sons. Their family also includes two beagles, two horses, and a cat. When not at the clinic, her favorite places to be are home with her family or cheering on her boys at their sporting events.
Our Team
Tiffany Seitz – Office Manager / Registered Veterinary Technician
Tiffany Seitz, a Registered Veterinary Technician, received an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 1999 . Tiffany relocated from Omaha, NE and joined the Healing Paws team in 2014. She holds licenses in Missouri, Nebraska and Ohio. Her special interests are anesthesia and dentistry.
Tiffany resides in Nixa with her husband and two sons. When not working hard to provide quality care for your pet, Tif enjoys kayaking and scrap booking, as well as spending time with her family.
Cheri Crane – Receptionist
Cheri has been working with animals most of her life and she’s been in the veterinary field since 2009. She shares her home with a rescue cat and four wonderful rescue dogs – a border collie, two shelties and a mixed breed.
Cheri enjoys training her dogs and has been competing with them in agility for many years. In her spare time she also enjoys many outdoor activities such as running, hiking, kayaking, gardening and spending time at the lake.
Kat Newell – Receptionist and kennel technician
Kat joined the Healing Paws team in August of 2018. She graduated from Missouri State University with her bachelor degree in wildlife biology in 2019.
She has always had a passion for animals and has been working with small animals since 2015. When not at work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, crafts and, of course, spending time with her pets.
Ashley Kelly – Clinic and surgery technician
Ashley became a member of the Healing Paws team in March of 2016. She graduated from Missouri State University in 2014 with bachelors degrees in animal science and biology. Since then, she’s been working as a veterinary assistant and following her passion to help provide the best care for our furry friends. She loves to spend her time reading, writing or being crafty and, most of all, taking naps with her shih tzu Star.
Heather Downum – Clinic and surgery technician
Heather joined the Healing Paws family in August of 2016. Before that she worked in a few clinics around the area as an assistant and a receptionist. She even worked with Dr. Wantuck previously at another office.
When she is not at work, she can usually be found at a sports event that her daughter is playing in or hanging out on the farm. Her daughter also competes locally in speed events on her horse, so they spend a lot of time with their horses – whether it’s practice time or trail riding. In addition to the horses, they also have dogs, cats, rats, sugar gliders, parakeets, chickens and ducks that take up whatever is left of their “free time”.
Carmen Morrow – Clinic and surgery technician
Carmen joined the Healing Paws family in June of 2018. She started working in the veterinary field in 2000 and has a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Her passion has always been animals and she has enjoyed finding a team to be a part of.
When she is not at work, you can find her with her husband, their four children and their french bulldog, Darcey Esme. They enjoy attending and volunteering at their church and running their kids to school events and extra curricular activities.
Erin Wolford – Clinic and kennel technician
Erin decided to take her love for animals to the next level and joined the Healing Paws team in 2017. She has a Bachelors degree in animal science and loves to use her skills to care for animals and their families.
Erin has a dog named Cooper and a cat named Chloe. In her free time she enjoys hiking, kayaking and spending time with her friends and family.
McKensie Keener – Kennel Technician
McKensie Keener decided to follow her passion of working with animals in July of 2014 when she joined the Healing Paws team. She started from the ground up, since this was her first time working at a veterinary clinic, and has gained a lot of knowledge about veterinary medicine during her time at Healing Paws. McKensie has two dogs, August and Bridger. She graduated from Missouri State University in 2018 with a Bachelors degree in General Business.
Jackson Hood – Kennel technician
Jackson joined the Healing Paws family in January of 2016 to follow his passion of working with animals. He attends Missouri State University and is working on a degree in wildlife conservation and management.
He has a wonderful goldendoodle named Harper and a rescue cat named George. In his free time he likes to hike, kayak, bike, basically anything outdoors and spend time playing with Harper.
