Dr. Kerry Ragan Wantuck
Dr. Kerry Ragan Wantuck stands as the guiding force behind our veterinary practice, committed to providing exceptional care to the pets in our community. With over 14 years of experience as a small animal clinician, Dr. Wantuck sets the standard for superior medicine and remains at the forefront of veterinary advancements. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2005 and has since realized her dream of owning a veterinary practice, where she leads a team dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care to their patients.
Specializing in geriatrics, surgery, and avian/small mammal medicine, Dr. Wantuck is passionate about educating her clients and empowering them to make informed decisions about their pets’ health. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Wantuck cherishes spending time with her family, including her husband, two children, four dogs, and a revolving cast of rescue cats who frequent their front porch. Her caring and generous personality extends to her Healing Paws family and patients, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Dr. Paige Beatty
Dr. Paige Beatty is an esteemed leader within our close-knit Healing Paws family. Hailing from the St. Charles, Missouri area, she embarked on her journey in veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned her degree in 1997. With a deep-rooted passion for dermatology, internal medicine, and surgery, Dr. Beatty brings a wealth of expertise and unwavering dedication to our clinic.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Beatty finds joy in family life, sharing her home with her husband, two children, and an array of furry companions. Among their four-legged friends are two Great Pyrenees, two Shih Tzus, and six cats. In her leisure time, Dr. Beatty indulges in her hobbies of quilting and reading, finding relaxation and fulfillment in these creative pursuits.
Dr. Kathleen McFarland
Dr. Kathleen McFarland is a compassionate veterinarian specializing in surgery, internal medicine, and preventive care. With extensive expertise acquired from her studies at Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Missouri State University, Dr. Mcfarland is committed to providing exceptional care to every furry patient. Guided by her love for animals and a dedication to excellence, she approaches each patient visit with warmth and expertise. Dr. Mcfarland goal is not only to diagnose and treat but also to ensure every client leaves feeling informed and supported. At home, she cherishes the playful antics and unconditional love of her dogs, Davy and Lorelai, alongside her beloved husband, Tom, and their son, Leo. Beyond her veterinary practice, Dr. Mcfarland finds joy in simple pleasures like curling up with a good book or creating creating her latest crocheted masterpiece.
Dr. Christina Robinson
Dr. Christian Robinson is a cherished member of our Healing Paws family, embodying a blend of expertise and empathy in her veterinary practice. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri, Dr. Robinson’s journey into veterinary care was sparked by a deep curiosity for biology and the workings of the body. Guided by mentors who instilled a love for the profession, Dr. Robinson’s goal in every patient visit is to listen attentively to owners, ensuring effective communication and providing smart and compassionate care to their beloved pets. At home, Dr. Robinson finds joy and fulfillment in the company of her husband Charlie, their children Lucy and Eli, and their cherished pets, including Tuck the inside dog, Willie, Sandy, Lilly, and Big Spot the guardian dogs, a group of barn cats, and a flock of sheep. Beyond her professional life, Dr. Robinson values the relationships she builds with pets and their owners, making each interaction at Healing Paws a rewarding experience.
